If you have been on the Internet for the past week or so, there’s no doubt you’ve heard about the new Red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus being released. It’s absolutely great in all areas of business and good of heart, so why not keep it on for the next one?
This iPhone is something no one was really expecting Apple to do, making the announcement so much greater. The red iPhone is for support of Product (Red), who helps spread awareness and fights HIV/AIDS. Apple has no doubt been in support of this company for the past couple of years, coming out with cases and accessories made for Apple devices, but to Apple fans around the world, this is something that can be more than excitable.
“Apple is the world’s largest corporate donor to the Global Fund, contributing more than $130 million as part of its partnership with (RED)”- Deborah Dugan, (RED)’s CEO.
What has recently been going around on Reddit and other community blogs is the possibility of Apple keeping the Red iPhone on for the long haul. If they decide to do this, it would skyrocket their contributions to the global fund and give them some brownie points with just about every human that knows about it. They won’t just be known for making great technology; they’ll be making the world more and more of a better place with kindness (and we all live happily ever after, Right?).
But why not go even further? Several articles have decided to mock up a new “what if?” scenario, showcasing a sleek and extremely good-looking Red iPhone with a black front. These kinds of theories are what generate future products and further the race for finding the consumer’s wants that match their needs perfectly.
What kills me is that these two ideas have not been confirmed or denied yet. I guess that’s just how Apple works; keeping you in suspense until the last second, and leaving you with an abundance of surprises.
